It was a big day in our family - Donnie was a warrior prince today as he got bilateral ear tubes after months of ear infections. Of course over the last 3 weeks he hasn't had any ear issues, but we had the surgery scheduled for today. We went in at 6:30am and he was in surgery by 7:20am - out probably by 7:35am (or less - the timing is fuzzy for all of us!). It was a very quick procedure and the worst part was holding our baby boy while he was put under anesthesia and was in a panic, but he did really well and woke up slowly and peacefully, which the nurse said was amazing. He was super cuddly afterwards, which was what his parents needed! :)
Pre-surgery - playing in the waiting room

Dressed in his hospital clothes and playing with cars while waiting. We had the procedure done at Children's hospital and we were so impressed with the service and staff - they were amazing and so helpful to us and so great with Donnie.

And, we knew D was going to be ok when his normal antics were in play with being silly and cute before surgery!

We were headed home by 8:30am and this was taken around 11am - he was a happy lil dude today and in great spirits. He did well without constant doses of meds and even sat still and helped us count the 3 drops that have to go into each ear 3 times a day! He's such a sweetheart.
